When logged in to the Item Acquisition Manager, click on the Donors tab and then click on the green Create New Donor button.
Fill out the form with all of the information you have about that donor. The only required field is the First Name, if the donor is an individual, or Company Name, if they're a business.
Some other fields to complete are:
Solicitor: Enter the name of person who will be contacting that donor for a donation.
Tags: These are keywords or categories that can help you search for donors. For example, you can add the tag "Boston" to all donors that are in the Boston area. Then you'll be able to search by the tag later to get a group of all donors that share that tag.
Be sure to click Add new Donor at the bottom of the page to save your work.
